ABOUT THIS CONCERT

In addition to countless awards and honors, Stéphane Tétreault has performed around the world as a recitalist, with chamber ensembles, and with many of the world's top orchestras. For the second of his four residency concerts, Tétreault takes the stage with French-Canadian jazz pianist and composer Lorraine Desmarais. Together, Desmarais and Tétreault perform a programme that includes works by Nina Simone, Astor Piazzolla, George Gershwin, Johann Sebastian Bach, and Desmarais.

En plus d'avoir reçu de nombreux prix et distinctions, Stéphane Tétreault s'est produit dans le monde entier non seulement avec des ensembles de musique de chambre mais aussi des orchestres parmi les meilleurs au monde. Pour le deuxième de ses quatre concerts en résidence, il montera sur scène avec la pianiste et compositrice de jazz canadienne-française Lorraine Desmarais. Desmarais et Tétreault réalisent ensemble un programme comprenant des œuvres de Nina Simone, d'Astor Piazzolla, de George Gershwin, de Johann Sebastian Bach et de Desmarais.
