Often dubbed the poet of the piano, Frédéric Chopin wrote very little music that did not spotlight that instrument. Aside from a handful of works for piano and flute, the only other instrument that seemed to hold Chopin's interest was the cello. This beautiful recital pairs cellist Cameron Crozman, performing on the circa 1769 Spanish “El Tiburon” cello, and celebrated award-winning pianist Charles Richard-Hamelin performing the romantic era Chopin's complex masterpiece Cello Sonata in G minor op. 65, while Crozman performs JS Bach's haunting Cello Suite No. 2 in D minor, BWV 1008, and Richard-Hamelin the César Franck Prélude, Aria et Final op. 23.

Souvent surnommé le poète du piano, Frédéric Chopin a écrit très peu de musique qui ne mette pas en valeur cet instrument. À l'exception d'une poignée d'œuvres pour piano et flûte, le seul autre instrument qui semblait retenir l'attention de Chopin était le violoncelle. Ce magnifique récital associe le violoncelliste Cameron Crozman, qui joue sur le violoncelle espagnol "El Tiburon" datant de 1769, et le célèbre pianiste primé Charles Richard-Hamelin, qui interprète le chef-d'œuvre complexe de l'ère romantique qu'est la "Sonate pour violoncelle en sol mineur op. 65" de Chopin. 65", tandis que Crozman interprète l'envoûtante "Suite pour violoncelle n° 2 en ré mineur, BWV 1008" de JS Bach, et Richard-Hamelin le Prélude "Aria et Final op. 23" de César Franck.
